Jeep Wrangler End of Lease Q and A
Don't Miss Out on New Jeep Inventory!
For many drivers, leasing is the perfect way to make the car of your dreams more accessible. Sometimes, purchasing a car can be too expensive, or simply too much commitment for drivers who aren't looking for a long-term vehicle. Leasing allows you to get behind the wheel of a brand-new vehicle in a quick and efficient manner, and even helps you save money in the process. A great option for those considering a lease is the iconic Jeep Wrangler! Maybe you've always wondered what it's like to drive an off-road SUV like the Wrangler, but aren't sure you want to keep it long-term. Whatever your reasoning may be, we can help answer any questions you might have about leasing. Our dealership is conveniently located in White Lake, MI, just 30 minutes west of Auburn Hills! Read on to learn more FAQs about ending your Wrangler lease!
Is a Lease-End Inspection Required for My Wrangler?
When it's time to return your leased vehicle, it's not technically required to complete a pre-return inspection unless you'd prefer to have one done ahead of time. If you skip it, Stellantis Financial Services will arrange for an independent third-party inspector to evaluate the vehicle after you turn it in. If you do want an inspection before your lease ends, simply call 800-439-0985 to schedule an appointment with a Lease End Consultant. The inspection is free and can be done at your original dealership or anywhere that's convenient for you, including your home or workplace! Once it's completed, you'll receive the inspection report within 24 to 48 hours.
Where Do I Bring My Wrangler When My Lease Ends?
One thing you may not have considered is exactly where to bring your Wrangler when your lease ends! If you leased your Jeep with us here at Szott M-59 Jeep, then you'll bring it back to us here in White Lake, Michigan. If you've moved or can't get back to our dealership, just call Customer Care at 800-439-0985 and they'll help you find another authorized dealer nearby. Be sure to schedule a return appointment with your originating dealership so you can bring the vehicle back on or before your lease-end date. You can return it early if needed, but keep in mind that early returns may come with additional charges, including remaining payments. And if you're hoping to keep your Wrangler a little longer, certain leases may qualify for an extension, so it's worth calling Customer Care to check your options.

What Are My Options at My Wrangler's Lease-End?
When your Wrangler lease ends, you'll have some options to choose from. You can simply return the vehicle and move on to a brand-new model, purchase your current Wrangler, or return it without replacing it! If you decide to purchase your Wrangler, start by getting a lease payoff quote either through your Stellantis Financial Services online account or by calling Customer Care at 800-439-0985. The payoff figure is good for 10 days, and you can send your payment directly to Stellantis Financial Services, or work with our finance center for assistance and financing if needed. And if you'd rather refinance instead of paying the full amount upfront, you may be eligible to do so through Stellantis Financial Services.
Are There Any Charges at the End of My Wrangler Lease?
Depending on your lease contract, there are a few possible charges to be aware of when your Wrangler lease ends. Most leases include a turn-in fee, which is outlined in your original agreement. This fee may be waived if you choose to lease or buy another Stellantis model, and it's automatically avoided if you decide to buy your current Wrangler. After returning your vehicle, you'll receive an end-of-term invoice that will detail any remaining costs, which may include the turn-in fee, excess wear and tear charges, mileage overages, any unpaid monthly payments, and other outstanding amounts such as taxes or late fees. If you exceed the mileage allowance on your lease, you'll be billed per mile at the rate specified in your contract.
